When you submit an enquiry, quote request or contact form on this website, you are providing personal data to AlGenuine Product Services so that we can respond to your enquiry and provide the information, quotation or support you have requested.
This page sets out specifically what data is collected, why, and how it will be handled. It supplements — and does not replace — our Privacy Policy.
Data collected
When you submit a form on this site, we collect:
- Full name
- Company name (optional)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Product of interest
- Quantity (optional)
- Message content
- Technical metadata (IP address, timestamp, browser user agent) for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
Lawful basis
We process the personal data submitted through our forms on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract — that is, to prepare a quotation or supply information you have asked for.
Where you provide additional explicit consent — for example, to receive marketing communications — that consent is the lawful basis for the marketing processing. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Where your data is stored
Form submissions are processed on secure servers operated by our service providers and delivered to our business email inbox. Our current providers include:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and form delivery infrastructure (United States)
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery (United States)
- Sanity.io — content management (United States / EU)
Where personal data is transferred outside Ghana, we rely on contractual safeguards as described in the Privacy Policy.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiry and quote data — up to 24 months from last contact.
- Transactional email records — up to 24 months.
- Security logs — up to 90 days.
Where an order is placed, data is retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and any statutory retention period thereafter.
Your rights
You may exercise the rights described in our Privacy Policy — including access, correction, deletion, objection and withdrawal of consent — by contacting privacy@algenuineproducts.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
